Grand Imaging Award finalist.

Only seven images out of thousands are nominated for a Grand Imaging Award for High School Senior Portraits. I am so proud to be one of them. This is something that may only happen once in a lifetime!

My portrait of a senior was printed for the entrance of International Print Competition. 2022

"Senior Style" is the title for my senior guy portrait. This was taken in historic Littleton, Colorado against a 100 year old door. Anthony carried all the swagger, and turning him to the light to illuminate a rembrant style of lighting on his face and low key tone of this image, captivated the judges.

Walking to earn a Masters of Photography degree and pin.

It's not often a mother of 3 and wife of 25 years gets to wear a sparkling gown and walk across a stage for two things, Master of Photography and Grand Imaging Award for a High School Senior Portrait.

You have an inspirational friend or mentor walk across the stage with you to put the Master of Photography pin around your neck. We are supposed to wear this achievement at all photography conferences so others can ask us how to improve or stat this journey.

Colorado Photographer Named Gold Medalist at International Photographic Competition and is a Grand Imaging Award finalist for High School Seniors.

Jennifer Henningsen of Keepsake Photography is honored by peers and jurors for high-quality photography

Castle Pines, Colorado – Jennifer Henningsen of Keepsake Photography in Castle Pines, CO  was named a Gold Medalist during Professional Photographers of America's 2021 International Photographic Competition.

Henningsen's work will be on display at the upcoming Imaging USA, held January 16-18, 2022 in National Harbor, Maryland. Imaging USA is one of the largest annual conventions and expos for professional photographers.

A panel of 36 eminent jurors from across the United States selected the top photographs from over 5,000 total submitted entries at PPA headquarters in Atlanta. Judged against a standard of excellence, 1,926 images were selected for the Merit Collection and 1,225 (roughly 24 percent) were selected for the esteemed Imaging Excellence Collection—the best of the best. The Imaging Excellence Collection images will all be published in the much-anticipated " Excellence Collection" book by Marathon Press.

The level of the award is determined by how many of those four images receive the highest possible honor: acceptance into the PPA Loan Collection, which is displayed at photographic exhibitions, conventions, and other photography events. (Your Last Name) was named a Gold Medalist, meaning that two of their four merited images entered the PPA Loan Collection. In 2021, they were one of only 103 Gold Medalists.
