Hosting my first camera clinic:
I am on the board for the Professional Photographers of Colorado (PPC). When I first decided I wanted to become a professional, I joined the local association and it was invaluable. I learned so much from local professionals that had years of experience and were the type of people that wanted to continue their knowledge and lift the professional as a whole by helping others improve.
Now it is time to pay it forward. This year I hosted a senior photography camera clinic. I found 4 models and 10 photographers signed up. My objective was to be there to make sure everything was flowing smoothly so photographers could practice technique and posing with a variety of models. However, I did take some time with Sneha. She is in the IB program at Douglas County, so it was amazing that she had time before finals to spend it modeling for us!
Here are some images to show you how I light a senior and the final product. I also use different camera angles and a 200mm 2.0 telephoto lens and a 35mm 1.8 lens, showing very different results.
